Situated in Mogoșoaia, 15 km from Bucharest, it is one of the most important architectural monuments in Romania.

The construction of the palace started in 1698, when the Walachian ruler Constantin Brancoveanu wanted to offer his son a residence on the Mogosoaia lake. The palace's decorations are made in original Romanian, Byzantine and Italian Renaissance style.

On the lake façade, there is a remarkable loggia, of Venetian inspiration, a landmark of the Mogosoaia Palace.
